Next Steps

EcoPartners is working with El Limon, three other nearby villages, and the United Nations Development Programme to create an innovative model for rural economic development. The four villages will design and implement an integrated plan to produce, process, and market new agricultural products. The project will showcase micro-hydroelectricity and innovative solar and energy conservation techniques, and will be tied together by the new broadband telecommunications system. Educational, health, and women's components will be included.
